Electrolytes are a set of minerals, such as potassium, calcium, sodium and magnesium, which maintain electrolyte fluid balance1in the body at the appropriate level.

 

The product is dedicated to the elderly and people with low physical activity who have a lower sodium requirement but need to quickly replenish lost electrolytes to support proper muscle function and the nervous system. In addition, the magnesium contained in electrolytes helps reduce fatigue.

The composition of Senior Electrolytes has been adapted to the needs of older people: the sodium dose has been significantly reduced to 76 mg, while the magnesium content has been significantly increased and adapted to the needs of older people to 150 mg of magnesium ions.

The product additionally contains a mix of 17 amino acids, which play a key role in maintaining the health of older people, supporting protein synthesis and tissue regeneration.

Hypotonic effect of electrolytes ALLHydrate. This is due to the fact that their osmolarity is lower than that of body fluids, which allows the water contained in them to pass more easily through the cell wall into a solution with a higher osmolarity.

 

Osmolarity of all body fluids the body is in the range of 280–295 mOsm.

Each batch ALLHydrate is tested in the laboratory with an osmometer, which compares changes in the physicochemical properties of solutions, which allows us to optimize the osmolarity parameter.

A solution with low osmolarity has fewer solute particles per litre of solution, while a solution with high osmolarity has more solute particles per litre of solution.
